10 Most Famous Cyborgs of All Times

Webster defines Cyborg as “a person whose body contains mechanical or electrical devices and whose abilities are greater than the abilities of normal humans.” And the best part is they already exist among us. For example, Steve Mann, a professor in the University of Toronto has been wearing a piece of technology on his head since 1980s that is designed to click pictures and videos in real time.

1) Darth Vader

He is the super villain of the Star Wars trilogy. The epic battle between Vader and Obi-Wan at the end of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith showed that Kenobi cuts off Vader’s legs and arm. Vader falls near lava and catches fire. Emperor Palpatine saves the villain and replaces his limbs with cybernetic limbs.


2) Robocop

Robocop is the main character of a famous sci-fi film made in 1989. He is made from police officer Alex Murphy in future-Detroit. The government makes a plan to integrate robots into the police force to curb crime. After Murphy was killed, the government decides to reconstruct his body and give him another birth as a robot-human hybrid. Murphy devotes himself to fighting crime but does remember glimpses of his human life.
