5 Reasons Why ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Is A Poor Show!

While AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ is hugely popular, the same cannot be said for ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ which seems to be very inferior as compared to it. Here is why we think so:

5. Characters Unexceptional:

Unlike ‘The Walking Dead’ whose characters you could recall in the bat of an eyelid, ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ fails to do so. How many characters can you recall from it? Would you be able to identify the army lieutenant who was supposed to be in charge of the safe zone if you saw his picture? Surely you can remember them according to their traits, “the drug addict”, “the whiny son”, so on and so forth but can they really substitute names?
Here’s the torture dude. We forgot his name too…

4. Snail Slow Pace Of The Plot:

Recollect ‘The Walking Dead’ where the plot spins off? Rick waking up in the hospital after the apocalypse, meeting Morgan, travelling to Atlanta, escaping the city, returning to fight a zombie attack and way more just in the first 6 episodes! This was a racy plot unlike in ‘Fear’ where the first two episodes were more of the family drama. No one would take up to a placid plot, at least not in a zombie show!

Maybe as a southern guy, I gravitate to southern women, but Kim Dickens gets the old juices flowing, and the story lines of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, afford the “DEAD” audience a new slant on coming zombie world. Us southerners are sometimes accused of being “slow”. Maybe that’s why the plot does not seem slow to me. Also, I was just fast enough to get a master of science degree from Syracuse University. Froze my ass off.
