Beetlejuice is one of the most iconic films of the 80’s, it was directed and acted by the best of the lot back in the day. Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice was an international hit across the globe and garnered impressive reviews, as well. Michael Keaton’s role as Beetleguise is probably one of the most loved characters of all time. The rumor mill is on the grind for Beetlejuice 2 since 2015, but nothing came into the production phase. Tim Burton’s last movie “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” managed average numbers on the box-office. During the release of his last movie, Tim had confirmed that he had put the Beetlejuice project on the back burner, but if we go by Popsugar’s coverage, Burton is back in the driving seat for Beetlejuice 2, and there is already IMDB page for this movie. Michael Keaton and the other cast members of the original movie have already hinted or confirmed their involvement with the sequel. 1. Michael Keaton As Beetlejuice
Michael Keaton’s performance as the menacing & crazy Beetleguise was exemplary! Michael has confirmed at many interviews that he is involved with the sequel, and he will be reprising his “Beetleguise” avatar in the sequel.
2. Winona Ryder As Lydia
Winona Ryder has blown everybody’s mind with her “Stranger Things” gig, and it would be really interesting to see what she has in stores for us in the Beetlejuice 2. If we go by Winona’s performance in Stranger Things, we can assure you she is in the prime of her acting career. And Yes, like Michael Keaton her role is also intact in the sequel.
