When X-Men Origins: Wolverine came out in 2009, fans of the series were disappointed with the way Ryan Reynolds’ character ‘Deadpool’ was handled. The movie did away with Wade Wilson’s cancer, his induction into the Weapon X program, his sarcastic humour, and the quest to find the man who ruined his life.
